I wrote these poems and songs over the space of several years, beginning when I was praying about my failed marriage. I felt God had abandoned me when he didn't answer my prayers the way I wanted him to. When I repented of my resultant anger and disobedience and lack of complete trust, he showed me his mercy through his Word. Songs and Poems From a Yielded Heart shows my feelings and faith thoughts as I progressed to a restoration of an intimate relationship with God. Being yielded to him is the key to joy.
