The Sleepy Old Lady offers frazzled toddler moms a helping hand at naptime and bedtime as she strolls home through the park, kindly (and repeatedly) informing her inquiring animal friends that she is too tired to play. After each encounter, she yawns a great big yawn. (A prompt for moms or dads reading the story!) You know how contagious a yawn can be. Right? I'm an elementary teacher and previous homeschooling mom who loves to write. The Sleepy Old Lady is my first published book.
