Marlene Bagnull is a gifted communicator and her passion for teaching others to write for the Lord is evident in everything she does.  In November 2002, Marlene taught “Ministering to Others through Your Personal Experiences,” at the first seminar sponsored by the Indian Valley Christian Writers Fellowship. She inspired us to make use of the ordinary and life-changing moments that God allows in our lives to write professional pieces that minister to the needs of others. Using humor, skill, and a wealth of personal experience, Marlene motivates her students to love and serve the Lord, building on the gifts God has given them.

IVCWF was born out of Marlene’s Greater Philadelphia Conference. Her support and guidance have made it possible for our group to function and grow as communicators of the good news. God is blessing and multiplying Marlene’s ministry to others, both personally and professionally. Many of us have gone from dreams of writing to a ministry in print under her mentorship. We are deeply grateful for her work among us.
