The original plan for my mini gift book devotional, Daily Inspirations from God's Word, was to be a flip-top calendar like DaySpring; however, printing it was not cost-effective. Even as I prayed, I still stressed over that disappointing realization until I sensed God leading me to stop stressing and turn it from the horizontal format— to the vertical format of a book. Hmm, I had not thought of that! It was different than my plan, but I chose to listen. God taught me not to let a setback stop me from moving forward. I would encourage those who have not yet published to keep learning, not give up, and most important—pray about every step! Who is it written for? Guys, ladies, teens; a new or seasoned Christian. Short, practical, and heartfelt entries for daily devotions. Deeper insight for some or encouragement from a scripture you have read a hundred times.
