Yes, snow is expected Tuesday afternoon
through
Wednesday afternoon, but I KNOW that our God is more than able
to clear a way for us through the snow and get us safety
to this year's CCWC.
The YMCA has assured me that all the
rooms
we've reserved in Mt. Ypsilon and Long's Peak are available
beginning Tuesday evening for those who are able
and would prefer to come a day early.
Just call the YMCA at 970-586-3341, ext. 1021,
to extend your reservation.
If you've perhaps just heard about the
conference
or are still undecided,
there is room in Long's Peak.
Without a doubt I KNOW that God is going
to meet us on the mountain.
As Liz Babbs, a faculty member from Great Britain, said in an email on
Saturday:
"As I was praying, I had a picture of an
army of huge mighty warrior angels
standing outside encircling the whole auditorium at Estes
with their swords poised and ready for battle.
Wow. God is guarding the work of your hands
and ensuring that His Word will go forth.
Nothing will stop His Word form going out to the nations. Nothing!"

Welcome
A
Word from CCWC's Director
Marlene Bagnull, Litt.D.
Until last year,
I had never repeated a theme in 12 years of directing CCWC
and 25 years of directing the
Greater Philly Christian
Writers Conference,
but as I considered the crises facing our nation and world,
I could not think of a more important assignment than to "write His answer."
Sadly, the problems facing us have intensified.
The need to "write His answer"
is even greater so . . .
I'm praying you will accept His assignment
and make plans now to join us on the mountain
May 12-15,
2010.

13 Wednesday earlybirds,
8
continuing sessions,
plus
42 workshops or 4 hands-on clinics!
ALSO - 4 (yes,
FOUR) one-on-one 15-minute appointments
with the faculty of your choice for those who attend the entire
conference.
BONUS fifth appointment for first 50 registrants.
But CCWC is about
so much more
than numbers and opportunities
to strengthen
your writing and marketing skills,
to get valuable
feedback on your work,
to pitch to
editors and agents,
and to form deep friendships with others
who share your passion for words and for the Lord.
CCWC is about connecting
with Him
and learning to wait on Him for the answers He will give us.

If you long for your words to make a
difference in the lives of your readers,
if your heart's desire is to be encouraged and equipped
to write about a God who is real, who is reachable, and who changes lives,
you need to come to this year's CCWC
and trust Him to make it possible!

All writers
conferences stimulate the mind;
Marlene Bagnull's conferences challenge the heart.
She brings in a knowledgeable staff
with a zeal to encourage and help writers to move forward.
Cec Murphey

Thank you for an
inspiring Spirit-led conference. It was the first time for me,
the third time for my husband.
Our heads are spinning with
information and encouragement
as we continue to move forward into the mission God has begun.
